Carbon-based composites for removal of pharmaceutical components from water

چکیده

Carbon-based materials. including carbon nanotubes, graphene, and activated carbon, are among the most effective materials for pharmaceutical components removal from water. Despite severe effect of micropollutants in aquatic environments effectiveness carbon-based composites water treatment, only a few studies has reviewed components. with special properties like tunable surface functions, abundant pore structure, high specific used different treatment mechanisms such as adsorption advanced oxidation processes. Graphene, nanotubes have been widely studied removal. Herein, we introduced recent on their properties, application possible mechanism environments.
